HOW WE GOT STARTED
Just like every other small business, this started out as an idea from an Entrepreneur who wanted to make a difference. Moon Mehmood, our Founder and CEO, came across an article which spoke about the school lunch debt crisis in America. The article spoke of one particular school district which was limiting students with school lunch debt, to only have Peanut Butter Jelly sandwiches as their meal option. Already having owned a Food Truck Park in the heart of Midtown Houston, she got the idea to serve schools with food trucks and give a percentage back to help pay off school lunch debt.
Moon began to build her network of food trucks locally and started reaching out to potential clients across the city for food truck service. As they say the rest is history. From what was The Mobile Food Co. focusing solely on food trucks in the Houston area alone, has now grown into The Mobile Service Co. which not only serves Houston, but also Dallas, Austin, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, offering a vast variety of Mobile services. We also always give back to schools whenever we serve them, never losing sight of our initial purpose and intention.

We are a Mobile Service Scheduling Company. We schedule not only Food Trucks, but all types of Mobile Service Vehicles across Houston, Dallas, Austin, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. If it's a service on wheels, we can schedule them for any type of client that has a need. It’s really as simple as that.
Accessibility during the pandemic
During the era of the Coronavirus pandemic, mobile services not only were the need of the moment, but actually essential. When businesses needed to close doors due to the spread of the virus and most of America was home bound, we brought all types of services to doorsteps across America.

About the Founder & CEO
Moon Mehmood is an entrepreneur with over 15 years of executive leadership experience expanding over multiple industries including but not limited to, Healthcare, Retail E-Commerce, Film Production and Content Development, Real Estate, as well as Service Marketplace Management.
She was raised in Houston, Texas, where she attended West University Elementary, Pershing Middle School, Micheal E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions, and later went on to obtain a double bachelors from the University of Houston in Biology and Sociology. She also obtained her specialty certification from the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio in allergy testing and immunotherapy.
She worked in the allergy care space for over 8 years, developing processes and managing operations spanning over 18 clinics across the United States. From training physicians, to allergy technicians, and patient care to dealing with clinic budgets and scaling clinic operations across America, she says that was the best business education she’s received, on the job.
While allergy care was her nine to five, simultaneously her five to nine was film production. Something she always found to be both challenging, yet rewarding. At Fluid Productions which later became, Moonrise Entertainment, she acted as Executive Producer before joining Truth Entertainment as Vice President of Development under the Oscar winning Dallas Buyers Club producer, Joe Newcomb. It was movies and medicine for a while before mobile services entered her portfolio.
Wanting to dabble into real estate, she ventured into opening a small Food Truck Park in Midtown Houston. From there, after reading an inspiring article regarding school lunch debt, she went on to build The Mobile Food Company, which was focused in the Houston area, around Food Trucks. That has now grown into The Mobile Service Company spanning various cities across the US, offering all types of Mobile Services.
“I love the process of creating and solving problems. Building companies, seeing growth in people, creating solutions which enrich the lives of others and watching ideas take life is rewarding in more ways than I can explain. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that everything in this world is a business. Every single thing. When it comes to success in any business, it boils down to relationships, purpose, and execution. If you can master those, you can make almost anything work for you.
